About Sidney Gillen

Hi, I’m Sidney Gillen, and I’ve spent over 15 years immersed in the world of telecommunications—a field that I’m incredibly passionate about. As the co-owner of Grand Lake Smart Wiring, alongside my business partner Tucker Hart, I take great pride in the work we do to provide top-notch services to our clients and community.

Before I began my career in telecommunications, I proudly served as a Marine. My time in the Marines taught me the importance of discipline, leadership, and resilience—qualities that I carry with me into my professional life. The experiences I gained as a Marine instilled in me a strong sense of duty and commitment, which continue to inspire the way I approach challenges and opportunities both in business and in life.

As Project Manager, I oversee all installations and ensure every project is executed to the highest standards. Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence are at the core of my work ethic, and I strive to make sure each client has the best possible experience. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a project come together flawlessly.

Outside of work, I’m a husband and father, which is the most important role in my life. Family is at the heart of everything I do, and it motivates me to not only work hard but also to contribute to creating a better future for my loved ones and the community we call home.

Building meaningful relationships is something I value deeply, both with clients and with my team. I believe a friendly, approachable attitude fosters collaboration and trust, and it’s a principle I carry into every interaction. My goal is to ensure that working with me—and Grand Lake Smart Wiring—is a positive and seamless experience.
