Role Overview:

As a Telecommunication Technician at Grand Lake Smart Wiring, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring seamless communication services for our clients. You’ll work with structured cabling, internet, phone lines, television systems, and security cameras. Your expertise will enhance connectivity and elevate the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Structured Cabling:

   • Design and install robust structured cabling networks for data, voice, and video communication needs.

   • Ensure proper cable management and organization.

   • Conduct thorough testing and certification of cabling systems.

2. Internet, Phone, and Television Lines:

   • Expertly install lightning-fast internet connections, crystal-clear phone lines, and high-definition TV services.

   • Troubleshoot connectivity issues promptly.

   • Optimize signal strength throughout residential and commercial spaces.

3. TV Mounting and Smart TV Installation:

   • Securely mount TVs for optimal viewing experiences.

   • Set up smart TVs, configure streaming services, and integrate home entertainment systems.

4. WiFi Extenders:

   • Eliminate WiFi dead zones by strategically placing extenders.

   • Ensure strong and reliable signals across properties.

5. Computer Services:

   • Provide custom builds, repairs, and upgrades for computers.

   • Keep clients’ systems operational and efficient.

6. Phone, Internet, and TV Repair:

   • Diagnose and resolve issues with phone lines, internet connections, and TV services.

   • Prioritize timely repairs to minimize downtime.

7. Audio and Visual Installation:

   • Create immersive experiences through home theater systems or conference room setups.

   • Install audio equipment, projectors, and screens.

8. Cable Management:

   • Organize and optimize cable layouts for efficiency and aesthetics.

   • Minimize tangled cables and ensure safety.

9. Home Entertainment Systems:

   • Collaborate with clients to design and install dream entertainment setups.

   • Enhance movie nights and leisure time.

10. Phone Installation:

    • Tailor reliable phone systems to meet unique client requirements.

    • Install new phone lines and extensions.

11. Security Cameras (States serviced: Kansas and Missouri):

    • Expertly install security camera systems for residential and commercial properties.

    • Ensure proper placement, wiring, and configuration.

    • Provide peace of mind through effective surveillance.

Required Skills:
